General Advice For Acne Problems.

Diet

You have heard it a million times. “Stay away from greasy foods”, “Don’t eat fires” and so on. But this is not necessarily true. In fact it has never actually been proven. However certain foods help to maintain clear healthy skin and prevent acne. Fish oils, liver and dairy products which contain Vitamin A (retinol) help in this regard. Also Spinach, kale, parsley, carrots, green vegetables and citrus fruit contain
the nutrient vitamin A.

Vitamin B-2 is another piece in the medication for acne jigsaw. Vitamin B-2 alleviates stress which causes acne breakouts. This nutrient can be found in fish, eggs,meat and green vegetables.

Vitamin B-3 Promotes circulation and in turn clearer skin, and can be found in liver, lean meat and avocado. Vitamin B-3 reduces Cholesterol also.

Sometimes certain foods can trigger acne in some individuals. If this happens then obviously stop eating the food item. Get to know what diet is best for you and what triggers acne breakouts. Drink lots of water and maintain a balanced diet, you can indulge now and again . Like the saying goes ” all in moderation”.

Hygiene

There is a misconception that Acne is caused by not washing. Not true, because dirt does not cause acne. Like I mentioned in an earlier article, acne is caused by an imbalance of oils in the liver which overflow in the skin pores, so over washing will not help. In fact it makes it worse . The reason is that over washing makes the skin dry and as a result aggravates the effects of acne. For those who wonder what is the best facial moisturizer, stay away from facial scrubs and alcahol based toners. These products exacerbate the skin and causes redness and agravates acne even further. Use a mild but effective formula. Do not squeeze or pick with fingernails or other implements as this activity actually spreads acne and leaves a permanent scar. After work and exercising have a shower in order to clear away bacteria. The use of Revitol Acnezine which is a natural pruct and is ideal to use after showering and washing.

Exercise

Regular exercise helps and can be an acne light therapy. Exercise clears the mind and takes the stress from the body. Stress causes acne so exercise (like vitamin B-2) alleviates stress and helps cure and prevent acne.
